Life Lately 

The mini break I took was much needed. We went to Florida for a few days over the 4th of July holiday to take care of some business and to visit our daughter and family.  It was nice to get a break from all the projects. 

We celebrated 3 birthdays in July: DH turned 60, our grandson Devyn turned 21, & our granddaughter Shayna turned 11! And my sister will turn 69 this month. 

Are you ready for this extremely long hot summer to be over? I am! Don't get me wrong, I love summer, but when the humidity is so high that you don't get any relief in the shade, I am DONE! However, that doesn't mean I want to see Christmas or Fall decor either (sigh), I just wanted it to cool down enough to enjoy the outdoors. Thankfully it has a little! 

Plus I have been making some changes to my website.

• My garden is finished & is growing like crazy! Except the tomato plant (sigh). 

• We're still steadily working on DH'S workshop and the garage. Hopefully we will be finished before September is over.

• The pergola is finished.

• Still puttering around with our bedroom & my office/guest room.
