It's finally finished!
What was supposed to take 30 days took 60 days. Between inspections, rain delays, our contractors concrete guy getting sick, and our contractors wife...well let's put it this way, while in the hospital someone screwed up, but thankfully shes still alive! I was beginning to wonder if it was going to be finished, to include moving DH'S tools and finishing a few backyard projects that had to wait, before the heat of summer (July & August) hit us, but that didn't work out as planned.
Our poor fur babies weren't happy with a bunch of strangers in the yard nor with the noise. But peace is back for them!
So let's take a look at where we began...

The workshop is a standard size single car garage 12x20. It's not big by any means, but it will work.
We wanted to maximize wall space, so the only window is a transom on the back wall and a half-light outswing exterior door (which had to be special ordered). We also decided not to have windows in the garage door (for now).
While they were running the power for the garage we wanted them to run power to the shed, which is where all the lawn equipment is; but there was an issue so that didn't happen. This was the third time something stopped power going there! I told DH that this was a sign that there was not supposed to be power in there 😳
Loving all the flowers on my Hydrangeas!
Anyways,
DH painted the walls and concrete. Then the planning for the placement of his tools began, of course there were adjustments along the way!
Moving everything in took some time because we had to remove some from the garage and some from the shed which meant other things had to be moved out of the way. It also gave DH a chance to go through and sort the tools and other odds and ends he has, to include ones he forgot about! It's going to be a while before everything in there is organized, but the bulk of it is finished.
