I love to read! Which is why this post will be in 2 parts. The first is comprised of the books I read in 2018 plus what I am (re)reading now. Part 2 will contain goodreads profile link, and a book bucket List which will be explained.
Another bit of info: You will notice that I don't do reviews, why? Because my reviews turn into 2 page book reports 🤦♀️ and when I shorten them they read choppy, so I just don't do them. With that out of the way let's get to what I read in 2018!
- When a Nation Forgets God (nook edition) - This is a great read but also a disturbing read ... I'm not going any farther; follow the link and make your own decision on whether you want to read it or not.
- Starvation Heights (nook edition) - One of many true crime novels.
- Skipping Christmas (nook edition) - Better known by the movie name "Christmas with the Kranks" . I read this when it first came out and after reading it this year, I've decided to make this a personal Christmas tradition.
- The Magnolia Story (nook edition) - I finally got around to reading this . Such a cute book!
- The Hygge Holiday (nook edition) - I got a few chuckles out of this one.
- Dead Man's Folly & Death on the Orient Express (nook edition) - I love 'who done its' even ones I have read before...❤Agatha Christie
- De-cluttering at the Speed of life (nook edition) - another book I saw while perusing blog land.
- So Close to Amazing (kindle edition) - I follow KariAnne of Thistlewood Farms and decided to read her book and got plenty of laughs from it.
- Alex (kindle edition) - This book may bring a tear to your eye, plus make your heart race.
- Death in the Islands (kindle edition) - True Crime... A crime in the Hawaiian Islands that's also the last case of Clarence Darrow
- Pottery Barn HOME (hardcover) - Again, but I don't read this as much as I look at the pictures.
- HABITAT: a field guide to decorating (hardcover) - Another from blog land
- 1000 Books You Should Read Before You Die (hardcover) - Bought the hard cover so I could physically mark off what I've read. This book is what sparked part 3 of this post!
(hardcover) - Love this book so much I'm reading this again

"The only advice, indeed, that one person can give another about reading is to take no advice, to follow your own instincts, to use your own reason, to come to your own conclusion. If this is agreed between us, then I feel at liberty to put forward a few ideas and suggestions because you will not allow them to fetter that independence which is the most important quality that a reader can possess." ▪Virginia Woolf
