I have only redecorated the foyer about a hundred times (exaggerating just a bit) since we have moved in!
Anyways...
since this area didn't need as much attention it was finished in a flash.
Plus with the redo of the kitchen which meant going through all the stuff I have...I made the decision to only decorate with things (whether antique, reproductions, family treasures, or new) that I absolutely LOVE!

The color in here is the same as the kitchen...
I love this color.
I had it mixed special and it changes with the light.
However, this area is so difficult to photograph (a glare, too much light, not enough light, etc) that it is hard to get a picture that shows the true color...
so please excuse some of the images.
can't remember where I got the reproduction bakers cart, but I have had it for several years. It has been repainted about 4 times and served as an island in our old house.
