Well here I am! Sorry for leaving you hanging on the foyer reveal, but sometimes life and random decorating changes happen!
We were having trouble with wi-fi, as I recently noted in a post. Thankfully, all it required was an updated modem and so far it is going really good.
March was a rather busy month, as most of the months have been here recently. My grandson participated in the Science Olympiad and him and his teammate came in third place in their event. In fact his whole team did very well this year and we are all really proud of them.
First let me say that I am thankful that we did not have the weather that other places had throughout the month off April, IE snow! But I have to say that the weather here and my newly developed allergies/sinuses issues have not been getting along well at all! Needless to say I've been a bit miserable.
If you're wondering about the foyer reveal; well after I took the pictures I realized that I honestly did not like the way it looked, so I decided to move some stuff around on the walls, this of course left me with a few blank walls in other rooms .... and well you know how it is.... it's the snowball effect, you do one thing and then it gets bigger and bigger and bigger! Then you throw in the fact that on those days when it's really nice outside there's flower beds that need to be weeded, new mulch.... and there's another snowball! So honestly you're just going to have to bear with me.... eventually I will get the reveal up and all the other DIY projects that we have completed.
And here we are, almost at the end of May! 😕 Which finds me with my house both inside and outside in a shambles, we had a birthday, mother's day, my grandson graduated from 8th grade this month, and to top it off . . . I was on jury duty for two weeks!😝 So this is the only post for this month I've been able to finish and who knows how many I will finish for next month!
