Year Round Wreath | №.3

North Carolina, USA
If you look around my blog or click on the label 'wreaths' you'll see that I have made a couple year round wreaths over the years.

My favorite one (Magnolia wreath) |HERE| had to be thrown away....Why?  Well some sweet birds decided that it was the perfect spot to build a nest and by the time I realized it (we don't use our front door often) there were eggs!! So I let them be and once they had moved on, my poor wreath looked like hell. So in the garbage it went. But I wanted another one.

So, I gathered the supplies listed below and made another wreath...

Lets gather our supplies:
  • Hot glue and hot glue gun
  • Magnolia leaves | HERE |
  • 18"  grapevine wreath | HERE | HERE | HERE | HERE |
  • Boxwood garland  | HERE |
  • Ribbon
  • Or order a monogramed bow from Patrice @sassafrashome
  • Wire for hanging
  • Needle nose pliers
  • Holiday Stems
Once you have all your supplies the next thing is to decide the layout.
  1. Use the wire to make a loop on the back of your wreath for hanging.
  2. Lay out your Magnolia leaves then glue into place
  3. Next wrap the garland around the edge of the wreath behind the magnolia leaves and wire in place.
  4. Finally add your bow or one you've ordered.
During the holidays add your stems like I did below...

Christmas

The possibilities are endless with all the great holiday/seasonal picks available.

Happy Creating! Enjoy your day! ♡ Tina
