Four Christmas Centerpiece Ideas

Well hello there and Merry Christmas!

I know this post is pushing it close to Christmas, but there are probably some people that are still decorating or haven't started yet that may need some ideas for centerpieces.  Today I've have four ideas for you from Christmases past. So lets get started...

This is an easy and simple look, it can either be used on a coffee table (as seen above) or dining table. The base is a black metal tray from Pottery Barn (no longer available), but a shallow dough bowl will work. I added 3 vintage wasp catchers (here or here). I used plain white taper candles and museum putty to the bottom of the glass. Then placed evergreen picks and a few pinecones until I liked the way it looked.

#2 & #3

These 2 looks have one difference... the candles; ones battery operated, the other is scented, place in a preservered boxwood mini wreath. The base is a bread board (DH made mine). A brown water jug (this was my mothers, it's over 60 yrs old) with magnolia leaf picks, juniper and evergreen picks, twigs, and berry picks. The gold looking trees are log splitting wedges I found at Harbor Frieght (can't find), but can be found here, that I placed on round wood pedestals (make your own or can be bought HERE).

This one uses pieces from #2 and #3, but the "trees" are replaced with the CANDLE HOLDERS I REPURPOSED and this statue I purchased at Hobby Lobby several years ago.

So what do you think?

Wishing you and yours a MERRY CHRISTMAS!

  1. Oooh, I love all of these, Tina, but I think #1 is my favorite. I just got a tray for Christmas that I think would be perfect for this. The greenery and candles are just my thing!! Pinned this post to save and share. Thank you for sharing this post with us all at the Will Blog for Comments #52 this month. We'll be back at the bi-weekly schedule for linkup #53 which opens Monday morning January 6, and we hope to see more of your posts shared there. Happy New Year!
